Haiti, Chile, Iceland, Connecticut. Where next? How are these people surviving without adequate water, food, or shelter?

Are you worried about disaster in your area? Become calm when you learn, prepare, and know how to deal. Take some quizzes, check out links, and store the necessary water, food, and shelter items you will need. It’s not difficult and we can help you get prepared.

Let’s talk about survival kits. A “survival kit“, according to Wikipedia, is a package of basic tools and supplies prepared in advance as an aid to survival in an emergency.

Aircraft, lifeboats, and spacecraft are equipped with survival kits. Also, survival kits are used in cases of bad weather.

Survival kits, in a variety of sizes, contain supplies and tools to provide a person with basic shelter against the elements, help them keep warm, meet their health and first aid needs, provide food and water, signal to rescuers, and assist them in finding their way back to help.

Supplies in a survival kit normally contain a knife (often a multi-tool), matches, tinder, first aid kit, bandana, fish hooks, sewing kit, and an LED flashlight with batteries. Civilians such as forestry workers, surveyors, or bush pilots, who work in remote locations or in regions with extreme climate conditions may also be equipped with survival kits. Disaster supplies are also kept on hand by those who live in areas prone to earthquakes or other natural disasters.

Our website, www.Survival-Quiz.com, helps people learn a serious subject in a fun manner, for free.

According to Rokko Brokko, founder of Survival Quiz, “The site is a central hub where concerned people can find lots of free quizzes to help them learn about disasters — like the earthquakes in Chile and Haiti, the volcano in Iceland, and the flooding in Connecticut — and get prepared. They’ll also find links to other quality information and resources having to do with disaster survival.”

The free quizzes from Helping Children Survive to Hurricanes & Tornadoes to the most popular Nuclear Disaster, and many more are available on the site. “You can play the quizzes, rate each one, read comments, and add your own voice,” said Brokko.

The site documentation was written by Rokko Brokko, who created the quizzes as a service, since he “had to figure out how to get his own family prepared. I figured if I was doing the work anyway, I might as well write it up in the form of quizzes so others wouldn’t have to suffer through learning about such a dour subject without having some fun doing it.”
